It is in your interest to ensure that all the pertinent sections of the application form are completed and accompanied by the relevant documentation. Applicants should allow for a processing time of approximately six (6) weeks.

The new passport will be issued for ten (10) years and is not renewable. The fee for a passport processed through the Consulate at Toronto is Can $120.00. Payment by cash or bank draft must be made with each application. If submitting an application by mail, do not enclose cash.

                                Travel Insurance
If relatives or friends in Barbados plan to visit you or you are aware of their plans for a trip abroad, you should advise them to purchase travel insurance. You may also purchase travel insurance for relatives or friends visiting you, to cover the period of their visit. More often than not we enjoy problem free travel but we should be prepared for the occasion when misfortune might arise. Travel insurance is a small investment, the benefits of which could significantly reduce the stress and anxieties caused by unforeseen circumstances. Always remember the Boys Scouts motto: “be prepared”
